I have been so sleepy this week. I don’t know why either. I’ve been getting my usual 7 – 8 hours of sleep every night, but I just feel so exhausted and drained. I almost overslept again today! Maybe because work has been a bit more stressful than usual this week? In any case, I am SO happy it’s Friday! I am ready for a very restful but productive weekend for sure!
Last night Chris and I picked up Pepe’s for dinner. I’m not a huge fan of Pepe’s (It’s basically a step up from Taco Bell.), but it was what Chris wanted. I didn’t even had the energy to make a decision let alone actually cook something last night. I didn’t take a picture, but I had Chicken Enchilada Suizas with refried beans and rice on the side.
I don’t have a whole lot on the agenda this weekend. Tonight is the only night I have plans. We’re heading out for my friend Colleen’s birthday. This is one of the events I’ve deemed as an allowable special occasion for my responsible spending challenge. However, I’m going out with $20 and that’s it. This will be plenty of money to get me a couple drinks. Setting a budget for myself also helps control the number of drinks I have. I’m not a huge drinker, but sometimes I am much too easily influenced by my friends. It’s not that they pressure me; I just get lost in the moment hanging out with them.
I need to clean my house this weekend. I’ve always been a pretty messy person, but it’s been out of control recently.
I also want to get some good workouts in this weekend. Yoga for sure on Saturday, and possibly spinning on Sunday.
