First of all, does anyone else feel it should be much later in the week? Like possibly Friday or at least Thursday? I totally do!
Breakfast this morning was less than stellar. It wasn’t bad; it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. I had visions of pumpkin pie oats dancing in my head all night. I was so excited for them! Thy even looked like they were going to be really good!
Alas, they were just really bland. Maybe my expectations were set to high, maybe something was off about the way I made them, I’m not sure. All I know is even the peanut butter seemed flavorless. The only thing that really stood out this morning was the ocassional bite of crumbled graham cracker. Oh well, c’est la vie. Tomorrow’s oats will be better. 🙂
I’m happy to report my legs are only a little tight after last night’s terrific three mile run. It still amazes me that a year (or so) ago I was struggling to run three minutes without a break and now I can pick up and run three miles after a couple months of very inconsistent running.
Last thing as part of my stress reduction challenge I need to start a gratitude journal. I’ve started a “real” one, but from time to time I’m going to post things here.
Today I am grateful for…
…WordPress for iPhone. I love being able to blog on my phone during my commute!
…oatmeal, even when it doesn’t turn out quite as well as I had hoped.
